As part of the OGC TC meeting, a special  OGC Asia Forum Summit 2014 will be held at AKIBA convention hall, Tokyo, Japan on December 3rd, 2013. Major focuses of the OGC Asia Forum this year inculdes  “Geospatial Big Data", "Disaster Response” and “Smart Asia”. Many distinguished speakers from the Asia region will share their experiences and practices in geoinformatics interoperability.
